Mount Recyclemore | A sculpture of the G7 leaders made from 12 tonnes of e-waste

E-waste poses a huge threat to the environment - and developed nations are among the worst offenders for producing it. With the G7 summit taking place in Cornwall, we decided to send a message. Introducing… Mount Recyclemore! ♻️ Mount Recyclemore is a huge Mount Rushmore-style sculpture made with 12 tonnes of e-waste, located on Sandy Acres in Cornwall, near the G7 summit in Carbis Bay. Our goal is to bring the global issue of e-waste to light as leaders of the world’s most advanced economies prepare to discuss how to tackle climate change and build a greener future. Throughout June, we’re also donating £1 for every consumer tech item sold to musicMagpie to the charity, @WasteAid. In addition, you will have the option to donate the value we offer for your tech to the WasteAid too. The donations will be used to fund WasteAid’s sustainable e-waste management education programmes in lower-income countries. We’ve collaborated with Mutoid Waste’s Joe Rush and Alex Wreckage to design and create the sculpture.
